Some of our Hirings have been about making of CDs. This is a very exciting process to take part in – the finished article growing slowly over the recording time.

i) S Karg-Elert – Music for Harmonium Vol 1 CEL 003 Harmoniumist – Anne Page (available from Cambridge Reed Organs)
Our Rosewood Mustel No. 1924-1057 was used on this recording as it has the specially large specification to enable Anne Page to play the most taxing of pieces ever written for the harmonium – Karg-Elert’s Sonata No. 2 (Anne Page site)

ii) Mahler ‘Symphony No. 4’ (arr E Stein) NOVALIS 150 156-2
Our Black Mustel No. 311 was privileged to be in this World Premiere recording with the Northern Sinfonia

iii) Schoenberg Lieder with Sir Mark Elder & the Halle Orchestra With Black Mustel.

iv) Mahler ‘Symphony No. 4’ (arr E Stein) AVIE AV 2069
Black Mustel No. 311 was privileged to be in this recording with Manchester Camarata & Douglas Boyd.
