Suggested Harmonium Players – in alphabetical order

1. DAVID BARNARD – played Mahler 4 (arr by Stein) with Hull University Sinfonia.
Although this was his first time on harmonium he took to it very well – we
were impressed with the result.
For more information please do get in touch with us (due to spam we do not want to publish personal emails on this site)

2. JOSEPH BEECH – a professional student of Anne Page @ the Royal Academy of Music. Joseph has performed with Trevor Pinnock and the RAM Ensemble on a number of occasions – particularly on the occasion of Trevor Pinnock's birthday. Joseph played in both Mahler 4 and Bruckner 2. He has also played the Rossini Petite Messe several times, as well as Debussy Prelude a L'apres Midi d'un Faune & various Strauss pieces.

6. ANNE PAGE – played the wonderful (and VERY challenging) Karg-Elert 2nd Sonata at the SouthBank Harmonium Day – it was acknowledged as a ‘benchmark’ performance. Anne has several harmonium CDs to her credit. However – she is very busy with her recitals & being Professor of the Harmonium Course at the Royal Academy of Music London – so you would have to book up with her well in advance. She is one of our best players.

7. SCOTT BROTHERS DUO (Jonathan & Tom) Also amongst the best.
They have Harmonium & Piano CD – which has received much critical praise. Jonathan plays the harmonium & Tom the piano. Go to their YouTube site & see some delightful pieces for harmonium – with & without piano.
However – Jonathan (or Tom) could be booked up – they are very busy.
Jonathan plays for BBC Phil & Halle etc etc!!
